Frequently Asked Questions

Can the candidates change their information?
Candidates can change information any time up until the information is released. Once released they can't make any changes. This is so that one candidate cannot react to what another candidate says, and to insure the voters that the information will not change.

Do the creators of this site have any political connections?
No, personal opinions yes, but we are not associated with any organization, and do this because we believe it is greatly needed.

Does the site include issues?
No, because it is very difficult if not impossible to determine who speaks for an issue, we do not include them.

What races are included?
The site is organized by town/village/district. So, by selecting your district you should see all the same races that will appear on your ballot, local through national.

For the candidates? No
For the voters? No

Why isn't my town/district listed?
We are beginning in Vermont, but the main reason is volunteers. If you or someone you know is willing to volunteer, go to the volunteer section for more information. LINK

Can we quote this web site?
The content of this website is made up of information entered by the candidates, and you are welcome to quote it. We ask that you give credit to TheInformedVoter.com as the notoriety will increase its use.
